Court Reservation Committee Requests Extension To Complete Review Of Previous Extension Request
The Greenwood Community Recreation Center Court Reservation Review Committee voted unanimously Wednesday to request additional time to complete its evaluation of a previously approved request for additional time.
GREENWOOD — The Greenwood Community Recreation Center Court Reservation Review Committee voted unanimously Wednesday to request additional time to complete its evaluation of a previously approved request for additional time.
According to committee documents obtained by The Pickle Post, members determined they lacked sufficient information to assess whether the original extension had produced adequate progress toward evaluating future scheduling decisions.
Committee Chair Robert Hastings described the matter as procedural.
“We’re simply ensuring the process receives the process it deserves.”
The committee was initially formed in January.
It has since established:
- two working groups,
- one advisory panel,
- and three subcommittees.
No recommendations have been issued.
A draft timeline currently projects a preliminary framework discussion sometime in early 2027.
Several members praised the group’s productivity.
Others requested additional time to review those statements.
At press time, the committee had scheduled another meeting to determine whether additional meetings remained necessary.
