TULSA — Momentum continues to build around this weekend’s Tulsa Indoor Open following what multiple people familiar with the matter described as “one of the strongest atmospheres the sport has seen all season.”

Tournament organizers confirmed more than 140 spectators attended Friday evening’s quarterfinal session, briefly creating what witnesses called “a legitimately difficult parking situation.”

“This is what growth looks like,” Brennan reported live from the venue’s mezzanine area, where he described fan energy as “absolutely playoff-adjacent.”

Several players also noted increased media presence at the event, including Brennan himself, who conducted three separate standup segments beside Court 2 despite no camera operator being visible.

League insiders believe the tournament could represent “another meaningful step” in professional pickleball’s continued expansion into mainstream sports relevance.

One semifinal competitor, reached courtside while eating a protein bar, described the environment as “pretty cool honestly.”

At press time, Brennan reported “significant buzz” surrounding a rumored paddle sponsorship announcement expected sometime next month.
